Engine and Dimension wise both the Cars are Best. Talking about Inetrior and Exterior Features both the cars provides Class Comfort.

Safety wise both the cars have Similar Features. As you can see the above picture, Side View of both the car are almost same which makes it a Better Rivalry.

So I conclude that both the cars are similar. The Isuzu MU-X has a similar feeling to that of Fortuner, but due to no upgradation in the car everything feels Older.

If you want something Different on the Road, then go with Isuzu MU-X.
If you want to be Up to Date to most Newer Cars, the go with Mitsubishi Pajero.
If you want a Simple Hassle Free car, then go with Toyota Fortuner.

At the End, If you don't like the Design of MU-X then you can take its Sister Car the Chevrolet TrailBlazer.
